We are excited to invite you to join our second annual golf tournament, benefiting Ukrainians who have fled the war in Ukraine and settled in Alberta. The tournament will take place at the Kananaskis Country Golf Course.
Russia’s war against Ukraine has resulted in the displacement of more than 158,000 Ukrainians to Canada. Approximately 23,000 of these have settled in Alberta, with many more expected to arrive as the war enters its second year. These individuals are in critical need of support in various areas, including food, emergency and long-term accommodation, employment, financial aid, English classes, childcare, and other crisis support.
By participating in our tournament, you’ll not only enjoy a fun-filled day of golf in the mountains but also have the opportunity to contribute to an important cause. We greatly appreciate your generosity and support for Ukrainians settling in Alberta.
The 2023 #StandWithUkraine Golf Challenge will be happening at Kananaskis Country Golf Course on June 23rd, 2023. Tee times start at 12 pm.
