At the UCPBA Dinner Meeting held October 30, 2014, UCPBA members Aka and Nestor Papish were awarded the UCPBA Lifetime Achieement Award for their many years of invaluable service to the Ukrainian community in Calgary. Among the institutions that have benefitted from Aka and Nestor’s many hours of hard work are the Ukrainian Orthodox Community, in particular St. Vladimirs Parish, Plast Ukrainian Youth Association and Calgary Ukrainian School.
