A Ukrainian parish in Houston is reaching out for help in supporting those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. Here is a message from the pastor of Pokrova Ukrainian Catholic Church in Houston. Please consider helping out!

Thousands of homes, cars and structures have been flooded in the Houston area due to Harvey’s 50 inches of storm rain.  Several members of the Houston Ukrainian community have had their homes flooded by the high waters. People have asked how they can help our victims. You now have the ability to directly help our flooded Ukrainian community members.  Donations are now being accepted into the “Harvey Flood Victims Fund”.   You can donate directly into this fund at www.Pokrova.org orwww.UACCH.net  You may use Master Card, Visa, Discover or American Express, and PayPal. You may also mail a check to Pokrova Ukrainian Church, 9102 Meadowshire St., Houston, TX, 77037.  Your donations will go directly to the flood victims to help them in their time of need.

Hebrews 13:16
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

 John 4:7-8

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Sincerely,
Very Rev Fr Mykola Dovzhuk, Pastor of Pokrova Ukrainian Catholic Church, Houston
